The incident resulted in the exposure of personal information belonging to approximately 27000 users. The leaked dataset included sensitive details such as email addresses, usernames, and IP addresses. Additionally, user passwords were compromised in the form of MD5 hashes with salt. This type of security failure often occurs due to vulnerabilities in web application code or database management systems. The site is currently defunct but the exposed credentials remain a risk for users who reuse passwords across multiple services.
