MangaFox

In July 2016 the popular manga reading website MangaFox suffered a significant data breach affecting its vBulletin forum community. The incident resulted in the exposure of approximately 1.3 million user accounts. Security researchers determined that the breach was facilitated by vulnerabilities within the forum software which allowed unauthorized access to the underlying database. The compromised information included sensitive user credentials and technical identifiers which posed a risk for credential stuffing attacks across other platforms.
