MangaXY

In December 2017 the Vietnamese manga comics website known as Iutruyentranh or MangaXY suffered a significant security breach. An unauthorized party gained access to the platform database resulting in the exposure of sensitive user credentials. The incident involved the compromise of email addresses and passwords that were stored using MD5 hashing algorithms with salt. This leak posed a risk to users who reused the same credentials across other online services.
