In April 2018 the Russian Minecraft server MasedWorld also known as MinedWorld suffered a significant security breach. The incident led to the exposure of sensitive data belonging to approximately 1.6 million players. The compromised information included player usernames along with their associated email addresses and IP addresses. Additionally the leak contained passwords stored as SHA256 hashes specifically using the AuthMe plugin format.
