MCBans

In October 2016 the MCBans global Minecraft ban management service suffered a data breach. The incident resulted in the exposure of approximately 120000 unique member accounts. The breach involved an unauthorized access to the database which contained sensitive information including hashed passwords and IP addresses. MCBans is a popular tool used by server administrators to track and manage player bans across multiple Minecraft servers making this leak significant for the gaming community.
