In October 2023 an unauthorized party gained access to the database of the Russian furniture manufacturer and online store MebelForest. The breach resulted in the exposure of sensitive customer information stored on their web server. Investigations suggest the incident occurred due to an exploit in the website content management system which allowed for a full database dump. The exposed data includes personal identification and contact details of thousands of clients who made purchases or registered on the platform.
