In May 2022 the Czech veterinary supply company Medivet International experienced a significant data security incident. The breach resulted in the exposure of approximately 2500 user records from their database. The leaked information included sensitive personal details such as full names, email addresses, phone numbers, and physical addresses. Furthermore, the incident exposed transaction related data including payment details and order history for clinics and veterinary professionals who utilized the platform for purchasing equipment and drugs. This exposure poses risks of targeted phishing and identity theft for the affected professional clients.
