The video discovery and search platform MeFeedia suffered a significant data breach in September 2019. The incident was part of a larger series of attacks carried out by the notorious threat actor known as GnosticPlayers. The breach included sensitive user information such as names, email addresses, and physical addresses. Additionally, IP addresses and passwords stored as MD5 hashes were compromised. The platform eventually ceased operations following these security issues and market changes.
