Minehut

In May 2019 the Minecraft server hosting platform Minehut suffered a significant data breach. The incident involved the unauthorized acquisition of a database backup containing sensitive information of nearly 400 thousand users. The company confirmed the breach and stated that they notified affected individuals. The leaked data included email addresses and Bcrypt hashed passwords. Although the hashes were compromised they were reportedly not released in a decrypted format at the time of the incident.
