In June 2017 the tabletop gaming community MiniWarGaming suffered a significant data breach. The incident involved the exposure of a database containing sensitive user information. The breach occurred due to vulnerabilities within the forum software which allowed unauthorized access to the member records. The leaked data was subsequently distributed on various dark web forums and hacking communities. This breach impacted enthusiasts of miniature wargaming who had registered accounts on the platform for community interaction and content access.
