In 2023 the official portal of the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine known as MinRegion experienced a significant data breach. The incident resulted in the unauthorized exposure of personal records belonging to approximately 3700 employees. The leaked dataset contains highly sensitive information including full names, professional specialties, specific places of employment, passport details, and residential addresses. This security failure highlights vulnerabilities within state digital infrastructure regarding the protection of government personnel data during ongoing regional development initiatives.
