The Arab Research Center website known as Minshawi suffered a significant data breach resulting in the exposure of sensitive user information. The incident led to the unauthorized release of data belonging to approximately 45000 registered users. The leaked dataset includes personal identifiers such as email addresses and usernames along with technical data like IP addresses. Most critically the breach included user passwords stored as MD5 hashes with salt which are vulnerable to cracking attempts. This leak poses a security risk to users who reuse credentials across multiple platforms.
