MIX Database

In May 2022 a massive compilation of credentials known as the MIX Database surfaced on a prominent darknet forum. This collection contains approximately 464 million unique email addresses paired with plain text passwords. The incident is not a result of a new compromise but rather an aggregation of various previous data breaches combined into a single searchable repository. Such large scale combolists are frequently used by cybercriminals for credential stuffing attacks and account takeover attempts across multiple platforms.
