In early May 2024 a significant data breach involving the MixZip household appliance spare parts online store was identified on BreachForums. The incident resulted in the exposure of a database containing records for more than 266000 users and over 200000 order details. The compromise occurred via an unauthorized access and subsequent sale of the database by threat actors. Leaked information includes sensitive personal details such as full names, contact numbers, physical addresses with postal codes, hashed passwords, and elements of banking information associated with customer transactions.
