A data breach occurred at the Russian investment and earnings forum MMGP.ru in early 2020. The incident involved an unauthorized access to the forum database resulting in the exposure of sensitive user credentials and technical identifiers. The breach compromised approximately 350 thousand user records. Technical analysis indicates that the attackers managed to extract information including usernames and email addresses along with security details such as salted MD5 password hashes and IP addresses used for forum access.
