In January 2016 the Uzbek entertainment portal Mnogo.uz suffered a significant security breach. The incident resulted in the exposure of sensitive user information involving approximately 103000 accounts. The leaked data contained personal identifiers including email addresses and nicknames. Technical details such as IP addresses were also compromised along with user passwords stored as MD5 hashes with salt. This leak highlights vulnerabilities in older hashing algorithms and the risks associated with regional entertainment platforms during that period.
