In May 2022 the official forum for the popular mobile game Mobile Legends Bang Bang suffered a significant data breach. The incident led to the exposure of sensitive user information including registered email addresses and usernames. Technical details such as IP addresses were also part of the leaked dataset. The breach impacted approximately 289000 registered forum members. The leak surfaced on various underground platforms where hackers often trade community database exports. This security failure highlights vulnerabilities in legacy forum software and the risks associated with storing personal identifiers on gaming community platforms.
