In February 2024 the Russian souvenir online store Monashop.ru suffered a data breach resulting in the exposure of customer information. The incident involved the leak of two database tables containing approximately 3.6 thousand customer records and 13 thousand order details. The compromised data includes sensitive personal identifiers and technical information such as hashed passwords. The breach was likely caused by an unsecured database or a vulnerability in the web application allowing unauthorized access to the backend storage.
