In late 2022 a Ukrainian hacker group released extensive data stolen from MTS Business infrastructure. The breach included the database for the MTS Kassa service which is a cloud based cash register solution. The compromised data includes sensitive information such as personal and system generated email addresses names phone numbers and residential cities. Notably many passwords were found stored in plain text format. Additionally the leak contains over 57000 technical support logs detailing customer names phone numbers and specific request descriptions which exposes business operations and customer interactions.
