MyQuranEdu.com an Indonesian online Islamic learning platform associated with the WALi studio suffered a significant security breach in early 2025. A threat actor targeted the platform database and successfully exfiltrated sensitive user information. The incident resulted in the exposure of approximately 4 million user account records containing registration details and email addresses. Additionally a separate purchase table containing about 300 thousand records was leaked which included more sensitive details such as customer phone numbers and transaction history. The data was subsequently published on various dark web forums for public access.
