In December 2023 a threat actor known as saddle leaked a database containing information from the NATO School Oberammergau e-learning platform. The breach impacted approximately 12 thousand users registered on the portal. The exposed data includes personal and professional details of military and civilian personnel who utilized the electronic training system. Investigations suggest the actual data exfiltration likely occurred earlier in May 2023 through a vulnerability in the web infrastructure. The leaked records provide deep insights into the staff and students of this key educational facility located in Bavaria Germany.
