In October 2014 the Belgian gaming news forum 9Lives.be experienced a significant data breach. The incident resulted in the exposure of personal information belonging to approximately 109 thousand registered members. The compromised data included usernames and email addresses along with passwords stored as salted vBulletin hashes. This breach surfaced as part of a larger collection of forum leaks during that period. The website has since ceased operations and been rebranded or closed following the decline of its parent media company activities.
