In February 2020 a significant data breach occurred involving the Russian national register of specialists in the field of construction known as Nostroy. The incident resulted in the exposure of personal information belonging to approximately 315000 construction professionals. The compromised data included sensitive information such as full names, mobile phone numbers, physical addresses, professional positions, insurance details and tax identification numbers. This breach exposed specialized workers to potential identity theft and targeted phishing campaigns within the construction sector.
