In September 2021 the IT training provider NterOne suffered a data breach that exposed the personal information of approximately 203 thousand individuals. The incident involved an unauthorized access to the company database resulting in the compromise of sensitive user details. The data included account information and security credentials such as Bcrypt hashed passwords. This breach likely occurred due to a vulnerability in the web application or backend systems allowing attackers to export the user table.
