The incident is classified as parsing rather than a direct server breach. Threat actors utilized automated scripts to collect publicly accessible user profile information on a large scale. The data includes personal identifiers like names and locations linked to unique profile IDs which can be used for social engineering and targeted phishing campaigns against users of the platform.
