In 2021 a data breach occurred involving the 1C-School educational management platform. The incident resulted in the exposure of a database containing approximately 18000 records. Technical investigation revealed that the compromise included sensitive user data such as full names and email addresses. Furthermore the leak contained account security credentials in the form of MD5 salted password hashes along with user nicknames and specific registration dates. This breach poses a significant risk for credential stuffing attacks and unauthorized access to educational accounts.
