OnlineGibdd

In June 2022 a database belonging to the Russian vehicle and driver fine checking service OnlineGibdd was put up for sale on a dark web forum. The breach occurred due to unauthorized server access allowing threat actors to extract sensitive user information. The dataset comprises approximately 490 thousand records. Leaked information includes full names mobile phone numbers email addresses regional data and social network identifiers. Additionally the database contained user passwords stored in a double MD5 hash format which poses a significant security risk for users who reuse passwords across different platforms.
