OrderSnapp

In June 2020 the restaurant supplier platform OrderSnapp suffered a significant data breach exposing information of approximately 1.3 million unique users. The incident involved the unauthorized access and distribution of a database containing sensitive customer details. The data included personal identifiers and login credentials. Security researchers noted that while passwords were encrypted using the Bcrypt hashing algorithm they were still part of the exposed dataset alongside other personal metadata related to restaurant orders and user profiles.
