In September 2024 the Russian online perfume and cosmetics retailer Parfum Paradise suffered a data security incident. An unauthorized party gained access to the customer database resulting in the exposure of approximately 41000 user records. The compromised information includes personal identifiers such as full names and contact details alongside internal system credentials including usernames and hashed passwords. This breach poses risks of credential stuffing and targeted phishing attacks against the affected customers.
