PeepMyPorn

In July 2022 the adult entertainment platform PeepMyPorn suffered a significant security breach resulting in the exposure of user data. The incident involved an unauthorized access to the database containing sensitive credentials. The compromised information included usernames and email addresses along with passwords stored as SHA1 hashes which are considered cryptographically weak by modern standards. This security failure affected approximately 261000 registered accounts potentially leading to credential stuffing attacks across other platforms where users reused the same passwords.
