Pemiblanc

In April 2018 discovery was made of a massive database hosted on a French server known as the Pemiblanc collection. This incident involved approximately 111 million unique records consisting primarily of email addresses and plaintext passwords. The data was not the result of a single hack but rather a massive aggregation of credentials harvested from various previous data breaches and services. This collection was found exposed on an unsecured server making it accessible to anyone with knowledge of the server location.
