PharmVizit is a Russian information aggregator focused on the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector. In July 2024, the platform suffered a data breach involving approximately 5,000 user records. The incident exposed sensitive personal information including full names, contact phone numbers, and email addresses. Additionally, security credentials were compromised as the database contained passwords stored as Bcrypt hashes. The leak originated from an unauthorized access to the internal database of the service provider, leading to the distribution of user data on specialized forums.
