Pizap

In December 2017 the online photo editing service PiZap suffered a significant data breach affecting approximately 42 million users. The incident involved the unauthorized access and extraction of a database containing sensitive user information. The exposed data included unique email addresses, full names, gender information, and passwords stored as MD5 hashes which are considered cryptographically weak and susceptible to cracking. The scale of the leak made it one of the largest exposures for a creative tool service during that period.
