On June 28 2023 the online ticket purchasing platform Planzala.ru suffered a significant data breach. An unauthorized party gained access to the backend database resulting in the exposure of approximately 954000 user records. The leaked information includes sensitive personal details and security credentials. Analysis of the data dump confirms that user passwords were stored using the BCRYPT hashing algorithm which provides some level of protection but remains a high risk for account takeover if weak passwords were used.
