Poshmark

In mid 2018 the social commerce platform Poshmark suffered a significant data breach affecting approximately 36 million user accounts. The incident resulted in the exposure of sensitive personal information stored within their database. The leaked data included email addresses, usernames, gender, geographic locations, and passwords hashed with the Bcrypt algorithm. The company notified users about the security incident in August 2019 after the data began circulating in the hacker underground and on various data leak forums.
