Yandex Practikum

In June 2023 the Yandex Practicum educational platform suffered a significant data leak when an unauthorized third party gained access to its user database. The exposed information includes approximately 300 thousand records containing personal identifiers. The incident was part of a larger series of attacks targeting various Russian internet services during that period. The data was subsequently published on dark web forums and through various file sharing services making private user information accessible to the public.
