In 2017 the Russian web development and script portal PsWeb experienced a data exposure affecting approximately 1700 registered users. The incident involved the unauthorized acquisition of user profile data possibly through a direct exploit of the site engine or automated scraping techniques. The exposed database included sensitive user identifiers such as email addresses and account nicknames associated with the community members.
