QuantumBooter

QuantumBooter was a prominent stresser or booter service used to launch distributed denial of service attacks. In late 2016 the service suffered a significant data breach that exposed the internal database of its users and operations. The incident revealed the identities of individuals paying for cyber attacks and the targets they selected. The leak occurred due to a vulnerability in the web application which allowed unauthorized access to the backend MySQL database. This exposure was critical as it linked usernames and email addresses to illegal activities performed through the platform.
