In early 2023 the reservation service Que-Up.com suffered a significant data breach resulting from a cyber attack. The incident exposed sensitive personal information belonging to approximately 850000 users. Technical analysis indicates that the breach occurred due to unauthorized access to the database where user credentials and contact details were stored. The compromised data includes email addresses, usernames, and phone numbers. Additionally, system passwords were leaked in the form of Bcrypt hashes, which provides a layer of cryptographic protection but still poses a risk to accounts with weak passwords.
