R2Games 2015

The R2Games gaming platform suffered a major data breach at the end of 2015 when an unauthorized party gained access to its user database. The incident resulted in the exposure of over 22 million records. The compromised data included user email addresses, IP addresses, usernames, and passwords stored as salted MD5 hashes. This breach was a significant security event for the online gaming community and was followed by additional security incidents involving the same platform in subsequent years.
