ReaperMC

In June 2022 the Minecraft server network known as ReaperMC experienced a significant data security incident. The breach resulted in the unauthorized access and subsequent exposure of a database containing sensitive user information. The incident was part of a larger series of attacks targeting gaming communities and private servers. Exposed data included unique player identifiers along with account credentials and internet protocol addresses used for connection. The leak was later circulated within specialized hacking forums and data aggregation platforms which compromised the privacy of thousands of players who had registered on the network.
