Regme

In August 2022 the Russian online service Regme experienced a significant data breach. The incident led to the exposure of sensitive user information including email addresses and phone numbers. Additionally full names were compromised along with account passwords stored as SHA1 hashes. The breach impacted approximately 269 thousand users who utilized the platform for registration assistance services. The data was subsequently circulated in the public domain and indexed by various leak monitoring services.
