Reincubate

In October 2020 a data breach at Reincubate was identified following the discovery of a backup file dating back to November 2017. The incident exposed sensitive user information from the software company known for data recovery and application tools. The breach involved over 616 thousand unique accounts and was likely caused by an unsecured database backup. Compromised data points included personal identifiers and security credentials stored as PBKDF2 hashes.
