Remedia

In May 2020 the Austrian homeopathic medicine provider Remedia suffered a significant data breach affecting approximately 134000 customers. The incident involved the exposure of a database containing sensitive personal information. The breach included full names physical addresses telephone numbers and email addresses. Additionally dates of birth hashed passwords and specific professional details like field of work and tax identification numbers for individual clients were compromised. This leak posed a high risk for phishing and credential stuffing attacks against the affected users of the pharmaceutical platform.
