Renaissance Strah

In June 2023 hackers targeted the Eosago service of Renaissance Insurance a major insurance provider in Russia. The attackers successfully compromised the login page of the personal account portal which allowed them to scrape and collect data belonging to approximately 2 percent of the total user base. The breach resulted in the exposure of personal details for about 632000 individuals including names and contact information. The incident highlights vulnerabilities in web form security and authentication entry points within the insurance sector.
