Respect Shoes a prominent Russian footwear and clothing retailer suffered a significant data breach on March 11 2022. An unauthorized party managed to gain access to the company database resulting in the exposure of personal information belonging to approximately 350 thousand users. The stolen data includes full names email addresses mobile phone numbers and dates of birth. Additionally the breach compromised user passwords stored as MD5 hashes with salt.
