RoatPkz

In July 2022 the popular Runescape private server RoatPkz suffered a significant data breach. The incident led to the exposure of sensitive user information from their database. The breach included account credentials and connection logs associated with the gaming community. Analysis suggests the data was circulated within underground hacking forums shortly after the compromise. The exposure affected nearly nine hundred thousand unique accounts although the number of unique email addresses was significantly lower indicating a high volume of guest or duplicate accounts.
