In September 2022 the database of the Russian online cosmetics store Romantino was leaked and posted to open access. The breach involved approximately 8 thousand registered users and over 48 thousand order records. The compromised data included personal contact details and technical identifiers. The breach occurred due to unauthorized access to the web server resulting in the exposure of customer purchase history and account credentials stored as salted SHA1 hashes.
