Romwe

In June 2018 the Hong Kong based fashion retailer Romwe suffered a massive data breach affecting millions of customers. The incident involved the unauthorized access and extraction of a database containing sensitive user information. The compromised data included customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, and IP addresses. Additionally, account passwords were leaked in the form of MD5 hashes with salt. This breach was part of a larger series of attacks targeting various online platforms during that period, exposing millions of active shoppers to potential phishing and credential stuffing attacks.
