On January 22 2024 the Russian medical information platform RosMed designed to facilitate healthcare quality monitoring suffered a data breach. The incident resulted in the exposure of approximately 20 thousand records belonging to its users. The leaked dataset contains sensitive personal details including full names mobile phone numbers and email addresses along with dates of birth. Such leaks in the healthcare sector pose significant risks of targeted phishing and social engineering attacks against medical professionals and patients registered on the portal.
